Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Resident Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist Production, Engineering, and Quality departments in developing, installing, and operating a system to provide on-site customer service in the areas of Engineering and Quality Control. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Resides in a customer plant to provide Engineering and Quality Control services and to resolve quality issues with regard to NAL products. 
  • Conducts customer service calls to sort or repair products.  
  • Coordinates the resolution of quality issues with other NAL departments, customers, and suppliers. 
  • Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues using standard NAL problem solving method. 
  • Prepares problem-solving reports indicating root-cause and recommending countermeasures. 
  • Creates and audits procedures, records, etc., for inspection and testing. 


Your Background 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience. 

Experience in the quality function within automotive supplier manufacturing with some exposure to Customer Service is preferred.
