Job Summary

Provides administrative support and analysis to the HRIS function of the Corporate Human Resources Department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provides ongoing support and insures accuracy of HRIS data.
2. Provides HRIS analysis as requested to support the Corporate HR Department.
3. Inputs and maintains human resources data in HRIS and timekeeping systems.
4. Creates and maintains all corporate employment files and correspondence.
5. Communicates all changes to HR Policy and Procedures to appropriate management at each location.
6. Coordinates and/or performs company-wide employee communications for the Corporate Office.
7. Conducts, coordinates, and/or assists with verification of employment.
8. Conducts, coordinates, and/or assists with the new hire orientation program.
9. Maintains accurate and timely distribution and display of all required labor/HR-related government posters.
10. Coordinates and maintains all HR-related postings on the employee bulletin boards in the corporate office.
11. Administers Employee Recognition and Car Allowance programs.
12. Addresses routine employee questions on benefits, compensation, and HR policies and procedures.
13. Provides administrative support to the Corporate Human Resource Department.
14. Create and maintains reporting for various HR functional areas, as needed.
15. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

1. Must meet one of the following Education and Experience requirements:
a. Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related position; OR
b. Associate's Degree in Business or a related discipline plus 4 to 6 years of experience in Human Resources or a related position.
2. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
a. Knowledge and understanding of labor, compensation, and benefits regulations
b. Ability to positively influence and informally lead other parts of the organization
c. Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills (with attention to detail)
d. Organizational, planning, and delegation skills
e. Computer skills — proficiency using standard business software (including MS Office), as well as Kronos Timekeeping and SAP HR/Payroll (or equivalent) systems
f. Ability to maintain confidential information
g. Written and verbal communications and presentation skills
h. Leadership and coaching skills
i. Interpersonal skills — the ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and maintain composure in sensitive, pressure, and confrontational situations
