Job Summary

Supports the Quality Engineering through technical improvements and maintenance of equipment and processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Support component trials in various stages of manufacturing
2. Setup and manage component and assembly sort activities.
3. Assist in product gaging activities, development, RnR, capability, special customer studies
4. Assist in developing and maintaining product quality and customer documentation
5. Assist and perform quality process and documentation audits
6. Work with process areas in the development of component cosmetic boundaries
7. Assist with and develop quality studies
8. Collect, analyze and present data using Microsoft Office
9. Participates in activities required to build prototype and pre-production sample parts
10. Assists with the confirmation trials of assembly equipment
11. Organizes and maintains an inventory of components to support pre-production trials
12. Performs other duties as assigned

Responsibilites

Requirements

1. High School diploma orGED
(Associates Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology is preferred)
2. 4 years of experience as a technician, Team Leader, and/or lead position in a manufacturing environment
3. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
i. Problem solving skills
ii. Technical and mechanical skills
iii. Leadership and coaching skills
iv. Written and verbal communications skills
v. Interpersonal skills —to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority, to work in a team environment, and to maintain composure in stressful or sensitive situations
