Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support for the Purchasing Department; compile data, maintain training documents, create spreadsheets, write policies and procedures, and produce charts/graphs for purchasing department. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Provides administrative support for Purchasing Department. 
  • Prepares and sends Request For Quote’s and Updated Prints. 
  • Updates departmental policies and procedures to reflect changes to current practices. 
  • Reviews and maintains time records in Kronos for the Purchasing Department Staff. 
  • Coordinates scheduling of meetings and travel. 
  • Provides support and/or training to supply-base and purchasing staff. 

Requirements

Your Background 

  • High School Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of administrative and purchasing experience OR
  • Associate’s Degree in an administrative or business related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of administrative and purchasing experience.
