Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engineering and development support in the area of plastics or coatings processes for new automotive lighting product launches and development projects. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Track and identify material, process, and equipment performance for feedback into design through evaluation of productivity, downtime, scrap, etc. 
  • Issue and maintain NAL specifications for coating issues. 
  • Serves as the technical liaison for customer and national/international material specifications. 
  • Advises and educates product launch teams on material and process capability for product designs. 
  • Performs general and specific material/process studies. 
  • Provides internal technical assistance to Supplier Quality Engineering and Manufacturing to help resolve quality concerns, increase productivity, and improve safety. 

Salary Range: $90,000 - $108,000 

Requirements

Your Background 

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of experience in a process related position, to include 2 to 4 years of experience with electronic components ― from design concept, writing specifications, quotation submission/evaluation, through installation. 

Electronic components experience in automotive parts manufacturing is preferred.
