Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, planning, direction, communication, and management to implement and interpret company policies, procedures, outside contracts, risk assessments, legal resources and government regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Assists company-wide on the implementation of new and revised policies and procedures.
- Provides counsel to staff on policy and procedure interpretation.
- Verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented and communicated including JSOX requirements.
- Conducts internal investigations of compliance issues and works with management for proper corrective actions and reporting.
- Provide oversight and direction to departments regarding contracts as well as litigation with any outside suppliers, vendors or customers.
- Reports violations of compliance or regulatory standards to senior management as well as providing resolutions and options for proper reporting.
Requirements
Your Background
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Pre-Law or a related discipline, plus 8-10 years of experience in compliance regulatory affairs--including 5 years of experience as a lead compliance officer or compliance manager.
Juris Doctor’s Degree and/or CCEP certification and experience in manufacturing is preferred.
