Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Senior Business Planning Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will review, analyze, and maintain financial data used for business planning and financial reporting processes, and supplies accurate and timely financial information to NAL management and Shareholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Responsible for the correct and accurate accounting classification of all expenditures.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor compliance with all accounting and payroll policies at the Corporate level.
- Calculate/Estimate all wage and fringe rates for Corporate and Plant Business Planning.
- Assist with the preparation, analysis and reporting of product costing used for profit analysis for Plant Business Planning.
- Responsible for the preparation and analysis of departmental reports and Profit & Loss statements for the reporting of planning to actual reports.
- Verify that all corporate personnel requisitions are within the approved budget.
- Act as system administrator for budgeting software package.
- Prepare a variety of financial reports for parent company on a routine basis.
- Manage data from a variety of electronic sources, combining and manipulating the data into usable information systems for effective financial management at all locations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Your Background
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business Field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
Proficiency using Power BI, SQL, and other database programs is preferred.
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
