Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Senior Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, design, and implement production processes, ensure new product designs can be manufactured, and maintain the molding processes in production. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

• Provides day-to-day technical support for the processes in the plant.
• Addresses internal and external customer complaints, conducts investigations, develops root cause analysis, determines countermeasures, and documents — using NAL problem solving methods. 
• Leads and/or supports mold trials prior to molds arriving at NAL, including interface with Tooling Engineering, the NAL Tool Shop, and outside tool shops (both domestic and international). 
• Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on a timely basis.
• Identifies Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs. 
• Provides guidance, technical expertise, coaching, and training regarding injection molding to the less experienced engineers. 

Requirements

Your Background 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience in the area of injection molding. 

DC Wilson, Paulson, or similar injection molding certification, and experience in multi-color molding and robotics for an automotive manufacturer is preferred. 

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
