Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Tool & Die - A to join our team. The ideal candidate will build molds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures complete from blue prints for use within the plant, and lead “B” and “C” Tool & Die makers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

• Performs a variety of tasks on molds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, including: 
  • Lathe work – turning, drilling, threading 
  • Tool Sharpening 
  • Mill work 
  • Surface grinding 
  • Welding 
  • Drilling 
  • Tapping/Threading 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Your Background 

High School Diploma or its equivalent, plus 5 or more years of related experience in a tool room environment—including experience maintaining Injection Molds (polishing, bench/hand work, welding, surface grinding, etc.). 

Ability to tool weld and stress weld and knowledge of heat treatment is preferred.
