Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Technician - A in Molding to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain and repair the machinery within the department in order to reduce downtime and ensure the smooth flow of materials through the department. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Sets and cycles molds. 
  • Troubleshoots all molding machinery and their accessories. 
  • Assists maintenance department in machine repair. 
  • Tests new molds, and provides the other departments with the test shots/results. 
  • Approves all cycle changes made, and notifies shift supervisor of all cycle and routing changes. 
  • Oversees and trains junior technicians. 

Requirements

Your Background 

High School Diploma or GED, plus 3 to 5 years of related plastics molding experience in a manufacturing environment. 

Completion of Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Technical Certification Program is preferred.
