Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Labs Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate all of the activities and personnel of the environmental and dimensional testing labs. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

• Provides a base for testing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and maintenance of all electronic, electromechanical, environmental, optical devices, and equipment used or manufactured by NAL. 
• Supervises, schedules, and assists with electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of NAL products: 
  • Per Government Standards (FMVSS/ECE/JIS/CMVSS) 
  • Per ISR/Annual Product Validation/Customer Engineer Specifications 
  • For Warranty/Customer failure modes analysis 
• Performs preliminary analysis of all test failures. 
• Issues written lab reports of tests and/or experiments performed and data collected. 
• Develops and maintains written procedures for standardization of testing. 
• Conducts and/or assists in training of departmental personnel consistent with their overall function. 

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled. 

Requirements

Your Background 

Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 6 to 8 years of experience in a related position using electronic and environmental equipment on a daily basis—including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. 

Bachelor’s Degree, and experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
