Job Summary

Plans and performs Human Resources programs and processes in the areas of recruiting, Team Member relations, compensation, benefits, HR policies, and performance management in support of the staff at his/her assigned facility. Performs all system functions and provides improvement input for procedures. Is a subject matter expert in one or more areas. Interprets and reviews complex policies, leads some policy creation. Provides support and oversight on corrective action.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provides overall HR support for the facility in all the functional areas of Human Resources
2. Communicates with Team Members and management for the purpose of providing information and assistance for making decisions, taking appropriate action
3. Addresses Team Member relations issues, as required, performing inquiries/investigations and facilitating timely resolution of the issues
4. Implements, administers, and supports HR programs and policies on a local or company level
5. Partners with hiring managers to determine recruitment strategies for their hiring needs
6. Analyzes and interprets HR data, and reports or presents overview of findings
7. Creates and maintains reports for various HR functional areas, as needed
8. Leads and/or participates in the onboarding process and new employee orientation
9. Processes paperwork for all of the functional areas of HR in accordance with established procedures
10. Inputs and maintains human resources data in HRIS and timekeeping systems
11. Maintains all necessary personnel records, and ensures the confidentiality and security of all employee files and other sensitive information
12. Administers benefit plans information, including Annual Benefit Enrollment, and conducts Team Member presentations on benefit plans, as needed
13. Administers leave of absence programs, and ensures that leaves are documented in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
14. Administers Worker's Compensation programs, ensures that accidents are recorded in accordance with company policy, and claims are processed per plan and legal requirements
15. Performs all other duties as required



1. Meets one of the following education and experience requirements:
a. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of experience
in in a Human Resources position OR;
b. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field plus 4 – 6 years’ experience in a
Human Resources position
(Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred)
2. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
a. Ability to maintain confidential information.
b. Knowledge and understanding of basic employment and labor law
c. Ability to organize, plan, and handle multiple priorities
d. Data Acquisition and reporting skills
e. Analytical and problem solving skills
f. Computer skills — proficient using standard business software (including MS Office)
g. Written and verbal communications and presentation skills
h. Interpersonal skills — to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and maintain
professional demeanor in stressful and/or sensitive situations
